| History Neon was born in New York State, her family home being a mansion an hour’s drive from NYC. When it was time for her to attend a wizarding school, her father decreed all the American schools unfit for his little girl and pulled strings to get her into Hogwarts. In truth, Neon’s father sees her first as an investment, a path to wealth and prestige, and as his daughter second. When certain conditions are fulfilled, Neon can accurately predict the future through automatic writing. This power has earned her father his long-sought-after status within the New York Mafia; however it has also earned him animosity and resentment for having played no part in his rise. He is extremely protective of Neon, and the line tends to blur as to whether that is out of love for his daughter or fear of losing her ability. Neon resents his apparent lack of interest in her as a person, and manipulates him with threats of not using her ability any more; however, she only acts like this regarding her father and his subordinates. Neon has the odd hobby of collecting body parts. Whether they belonged to celebrities, historical figures, or simply have unusual features, her overwhelming love for these macabre items can drive her to ignore her own safety in the interest of procuring more. | ||||||
